OUR PEOPLE
Meet the leading experts driving the evolution of cancer research

The founding members of CAIA—Dana-Farber, Fred Hutch, Memorial Sloan Kettering, and Johns Hopkins—have played pivotal roles in advancing cancer science. Their work has contributed to more than 10 Nobel Prizes, including discoveries that defined cancer as a genetic disease, the development of adoptive cell therapies, and the first bone marrow transplants.
Fred Hutch serves as CAIA's coordinating center, drawing on its deep experience leading large-scale public health projects.
CAIA also brings together six major technology partners in AWS, AI2, Deloitte, Google, Microsoft, and NVIDIA. These organizations have committed $65 million in resources and funding to accelerate progress in cancer research.
